Drums Alive® Health (for therapeutic institutions)
The guiding principle
of Drums Alive® is the idea of using rhythm as a source of inspiration through Drums Alive®. To discover a fitness experience in the group, it combines the effects of traditional fitness programs with the benefits of music and rhythm. Drums Alive® is a program that promotes healthy balance: physical, mental, emotional and social. At the same time, it makes it possible to incorporate the element fun and creative expression.
of Drums Alive® is to give everyone in the world a better life with the healing experience of movement and rhythm through the Drums Alive® program.
Drums Alive® has been scientifically investigated in parallel since 2010. With the results of the short-term studies on the topics:
physiological and cognitive effects of Drums Alive® students on healthy people
- primary school children with reading and spelling difficulties and/or ADHD
- Drums Alive® with inpatients with depression
- Drums Alive® with nursing home residents in terms of care levels
- Additive therapy vs. conventional therapy in tumor patients
- Drums Alive® as support in disability integration
we know that Drums Alive® is a concept which, in addition to the fitness program and the pedagogical approach in kindergartens and schools, also finds its way into therapeutic facilities.Click here to go to science:
Through tailor-made programs, Drums Alive® provides us with an approach to improving the quality of life of a broad range of participants. This includes mentally and physically handicapped children, gifted and highly gifted children, children and adults with potential for aggression, elderly people and patients with diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, stroke and other age-related restrictions.
The training [inhouse training]:
A firmly conceived Drums Alive® training, for the approach to improve the health of patients in therapeutic institutions or to positively accompany the way there, was refrained from. This branch of training can be requested from Drums Alive® as in-house training. This approach was chosen because each therapeutic facility has different priorities. In an in-house training course, the Drums Alive® team has the opportunity to adapt to the content of the facility and offer an appropriate concept on site.
After completion of the 2-day basic training each participant carries the title “Drums Alive® Instructor” and is entitled to add the title “Drums Alive®” to the offered lesson contents. There is no monthly licence fee after completion of training and no obligation to renew the certificate every year.
